First Year Experience and Orientation

CU-果冻传媒官网鈥檚 Center for First-Year Experience and Student Transition is dedicated to making your transition to college life a success. The Center works closely with the Jump Start and New Student Orientation programs, as well as 果冻传媒官网's Learning Communities, Academic Advisement, and the First-Year Seminar courses for incoming students. These First-Year Seminars lay the foundation for your future academic success  鈥 covering study skills, time management, and cultural diversity.

Your transition to 果冻传媒官网 isn't confined to a one-day orientation event. We've designed an immersive program that will help you, along with your family and supporters, get ready to start your journey on the right 'paw'! The BU orientation program includes:

  • A pre-orientation virtual platform- Bloom Bound
  • The Zoom with Bloom webinar series ()
  • A New Student Orientation event (in-person or virtual)
  • Welcome Week

CU Aspire supports select incoming Commonwealth University students during their transition into college work and life by providing them with the tools, resources, and connections required to be successful.

Regardless of the campus applied to, admission into CU Aspire means that students will be asked to join the Commonwealth University - Mansfield campus community before the start of the fall semester to receive the best support for the transition to college life.
